• Top 10 Zombie Movies ever made.

     

    Here is my all time Top 10 Zombie Movies ever made, as with all the posts on this site, This is my top 10 list of Zombie Movies and is only my opinion and how I see it. Whether you're a fan of old George A. Romero movies or you like some of the newer Zombie Movies like 28 Days Later I am sure you will find some good movies in this list. I will not be going back too far and will try to limit my choices from the 60’s onwards. Can I also add that I paid in to see a lot of these movies when they were on the big screen. Yes, I am a big fan of Zombie Movies so read on to see my top 10 list.

    1 .. Dawn of the Dead (1978) , This is the movie that really set the ground rules for all Zombie Movies that followed. It had a budget of just http://www.imdb.com/ over 600K at the time, this was not too bad for a horror movie.

     

    2 .. 28 Days Later (2002) , Without question, this is the best of the more modern batch of Zombie Movies made in recent times. This one had a budget of 8 Million and all of it well spent.

     

    3 .. Dawn of the Dead (2004) , This was a remake of the first movie, some movies get sequels, really great movies get remakes. This one is one of the best remakes ever made. It had a budget of 28 Million.

     

    4 .. Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) , This one is bang up to date, the zombies are faster, meaner and smarter. In fact the whole batch of Resident Evil movies is well woth catching. The budget here was 60 Million,, Big Time !

     

    5 .. Shaun of the Dead (2004) , The Zombie Movie that made fun out of all the others. But don't let that fool you, this is a full on Zombie Movie, even if it is really good fun. It's budget was 4 Million and it did well at the box office.

     

    6 .. 28 Weeks Later (2007) , The follow up to 28 days later, this one was just as good as the first. A real rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Budget 12 Million.

     

    7 .. Zombieland (2009) , Another tongue in cheek Zombie Movie. Pure fun to watch, lots of gore, and with a great cast. The budget here was 24 Million.

    8 .. Night of the Living Dead (1968) , AKA George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead. This one is a classic. The movie that set George A. Romero on the road to fame. The budget was only 150K it went on to make him rich.

    9 .. Dellamorte Dellamore (1994) , AKA Cemetery Man. Martin Scorsese called this one of the best movies of the 1990s. Budget 4 Million.

    10 .. Land of the Dead (2005) , The fourth installment in George A. Romero's Zombie Movies. This one is a lot darker than some of his other movies. Budger was 15 Million.
